Everwinter Dew: Prologue Demo
A downloadable game for Windows
The tale of a land frozen ages past.
The story
More than four hundred years ago, the southern Empire of Ilia sought conquest of the entire land of Gaia, but was put to a stop by the might of northern Kingdom of Pantheos. However, the gods' view on humanity greatly declined, and hereby decided to curse them with a never-to-stop winter, putting an end to the cycle of life and changing the land as the Gaians knew it.
Ever since then, every 30 years, the royal successors of Pantheos's throne have completed the Snowforcing, a sacred pilgrimage through the four corners of Gaia to check on other nations and ensure good relationships, as well as the survival of the people from all around the map during the next reign.
The current year is 1330, and prince Nikolaos Athanas has just embarked on his royal rite of passage.
Gameplay
Engage in turn-based strategical combat and help Nikolaos best his foes during the start of his journey on this short demo. In combat, once the player receives a turn, they can move and/or use an skill or item. Skills can be Physical, Magical or Mixed, and depending on their type they can consume Action Points, Mana Points or both. Magical and Mixed skills are also enhanced through an element, and their damage will be altered based on the Elemental Affinity of the user and the target, while Physical and Mixed skills will often depend on the user to wield a specific type of weapon.
